About Support Coordination Services of Utah
Support Coordination Services of Utah was started January 1, 2009. There were months of hard work before opening our doors to ensure that our business had a strong foundation and could not only provide quality services to the individuals we serve, but also provide a great employment opportunity to our employ. Our business has a focus on communication and support with our families and our employees, as well as our management staff. We feel that a business cannot be successful without solid, open communication.SCSU has strong leadership. The leadership team includes Amber Foster, Erika Braun and Travis Coleman. Amber has her SSW and over 7 years of case management experience, as well as experience working for a provider and schools. Amber oversees all marketing events and the hiring of employees. Erika has her MBA and years in case management and provider experience. Erika oversees all HR related tasks and operations including payroll, medical benefits and also carries a caseload. Executive Director, Travis Coleman. Travis has over 18 years experience working with individuals with disabilities including DSPD supervisor experience, Quality Management and DSDP Ombudsman. Travis oversees all supervision of employees as well as overseeing all quality management functions. Travis provides support to all employees to ensure our individuals are served with quality.
SCSU takes great pride in only hiring support coordinators who come with great references and experience. They all take pride in providing quality support coordination to their families and individuals they serve, and are devoted to serving those with disabilities.
SCSU also has strengths that make us a strong and diverse entity. Our employees come with several backgrounds some including: behavior work with providers, MSW degrees, nursing experience, DCFS experience, DSPD experience, and working with a variety of providers who are contracted with DSPD. We currently have eight support coordinators and serve 200 families in the area.
